What handling complement is it? If it is windows 7 starter, afterwards it doesn’t let we shift a desktop background
What do we think? Answer below!

When we intially purchased a computer we paid for it as a fill-in for my Sony Viao which was removing old. Sure sufficient after many years of undiluted use my Sony (RIP) died. we was forced to use this one. At initial we used it a couple of weeks stock. But we was usually regulating about 4000 songs nude in a collection. IT ran perfect. Until we alien and nude 25000+ songs which is smallest for a dj which considers himself a ask DJ. we upgraded a ram, tuned it to musicxp.net spec for a many appropriate audio pattern and infirm a wirless, and a svchost routine which used a many memory. (Disabling any others will pile-up your computer). These have been a same stairs we did on my Sony so it’s not anything overboard though when we fool around vital uncover for income we wish it PERFECT. So distant it’s been a couple of months and thirty undiluted shows after I’m still a confident Netbook customer. we still use it for internet when I’m not Djing. It’s a undiluted distance for transport and a second computer. If we have been carrying difficulty regulating audio programs leave me a criticism I’ll try to help. I’ve been pround which computer combined for fundamentally surfing a net and essay emails is means to be pull to such an idealisation productivity.

Is it windows 7 starter by any chance! If so, bring it back to where you got it or burn it with fire.
you cant change the desktop background if u have windows 7 and if u do have windows 7
then this may help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRdF8BnQr6g or just right click and click the last words in the box and then you can choose which background you want
Hope this helps
@Dagadee Set the latency higher, or buy a cheap USB sound card.
Im using the Numark Omnicontrol with Traktor Pro. I used to run it on my PC but it really sucks to bring the tower and all the equipment to a party or even a club
my girlfriend has an aspire one zg5, which im trying to use now. Unfortunately the sound is kind of dirty. You probably set Audio 8 in the Audio Preferences as maindevice but i only can use the soundcard of my controller or the onboard which sucks even more. Do you have any advice?Would be happy about that.
Greetings from Germany
Hi, i’m using Traktor Scratch pro on acer aspire one, with an Audio 2 dj such as external soundcard. it works but i’ve got some problems with the audio latency, the sound on speakers is disturbed, what should i do for have a nice sound?i can’t find a suitable value on audio settings
.. thanx (sorry for my bad english
)
@kibadanghi The lastest Audio 8 driver right off NI’s website.
@xylki I use a SCS.3 setup and an Akai LPD8. Plus iPhone 4 for mixing remotely. I’m very excited about the S4 and I used the NS7 which was impressive since I’m usually anti-serato but the itch platform is clean and easy to use. I’m going to have a hard time choosing between them. The NS7 is already on it’s way to being used with Traktor. I almost bought an X1 but it was kinda big for the gear, I might get one for the house tho, it’d be good with the SCS3
sounds really good, what audio driver are you using?
@xylki Indeed. U use controllers? I got an X1 mid of this year and it’s really plug-n-play with my Mac. I heard using X1 on Windows, u gotta install it and still do some tweaking. Traktor S4 is comin out here in Japan in November and I’m really curious about it.
@xylki A mini Mac would be a good back up! I love macs man for djing. It’s just so hassle free.
@sokalballa It’s always good to have a back-up when giggin. I’m thinkin of gettin a Mac Mini as a back-up. (-:
@xylki I’m running a MacBook Too as my main, my aspire is my back up, see my other video.
I was just Amazed that a 1.6 runs traktor.
My set-up: Traktor Scratch Pro with Audio8, MacBook Pro 13 inch, Core Duo, 4GB, 2.53 Ghz with latency of 1.1. SL1200 MK5s.
3 years and counting with no problems AT ALL. (-:

(sorry for my english , im from chile sudamerica)
Really nice, I am surprised it runs this good. Will buy a new dj setup and a computer at the same time so I thought I would buy a netbook and thanks to you I am sure a new netbook will let me mix without trouble.
Yes, but only on two decks, I ran 4 songs tho. It’s okay.
have you tried traktor pro on it?
Internal only. This helps with the USB IRQ. Google it if you need to know more. Acers come with a 250GB drive. Good for over 60,000 tracks.
Are you pussting your music on a exturnal hardrive or on the inturnal hardrive
The answer is yes! I believe it is the same specs. However I recommend this set up for home use only as these laptops are using their full resources to run traktor adding a USB or midi controller will use more resources ie memory. Using my setup for about six months I never experienced any problems live but I did encounter a few bad sessions on start up where it was choppy with 32,000 songs in the library.
could i use the Acer Aspire One 3G 8.9-Inch Netbook, Sapphire Blue (AT&T) for $50
could i use a mixman dm2 controller to mix with the traktor 3.4 or just mix with a mouse.
STR8 150s – best decks in the world
more proof to my theory that DJ’s are one part musician, one part puppet master and one part tech nerd. nice!
just got a msi wind netbook running osx leopard and ran traktor scratch pro with 4 decks and had no problems.
I can get down to 1.5 with a few files, once I added 20,000 songs I ranged it between 5.5ms and 7.5ms. The reason that these machines can go so low is the soundcard, the latency lies in the USB delay. 7.5ms is not even noticible when mixing. When I get the MAc Book This Week I’m going to do a comparision up for you guys to show the difference between a 1.6 Atom Processor @ 1.5Gb ram vs a Core 2 Duo 2.4 with 2Gb Ram.
I guessing that the mac will be able to operate while surfing the net.
What latency can u get without dropouts in this setup?
