Far cry using on an Acer Aspire One netbook computer. Purchased from Direct2Drive dot com for 10 bucks. Short film with a little song by Atari Teenage Riot.

@nelizmastr what’s the modded driver called? And is the GMA9xx series the integrated graphics chip? Where can one obtain this software and modded driver?
funny. all these people here dont know there is a modded driver and software for the GMA9xx series.
@ncpr707 in my opinion it is not, but depends wich framing you consider playable
@Panzerkommander1 try lowering ALL the settings. try turning the sound off. although I’m pretty sure I left the sound on. Turn off your stuff running in the background, ie norton or macafee etc etc etc.
How it is possible? I’ve got also Acer Aspire One netbook, and my FarCry looks like a piece of shit. It is playable, but looks horrible.
@AshMargrove i’d say yes… but you could always check the sys req
I have 3gb ram, 2.16ghz dual core, and a intelr45 express chipset family can i run it on low settings
@ncpr707 I don’t know…
@coccoborg COD is unplayable?
LoL unplayable! I have win 7 pro and 1.5gigs of ram on mine and it does the same!
i dont know much about it but amilo graphic booster should be the right
@K1llerkanack3 they have external graphics cards out already? I thought they were just in the works or whatever…? i didn’t know that…
i think so
External graphics card, for netbook?
get an external graphic card ^^ try starting it with 3d analyzer but it will lag like shit
Okiee…
gotcha. i was just backing you up sir.
I have a graphics card that is quite capable of playing crysis on 3 displays! But the thing is, He asked would it (The Netbook) run COD WaW… so i answered the question.
ya. if you want a computer to do those things, buy one with a graphics CARD. the acer doesn’t have one, its an integrated chip.
Hmm… Fat chance, The intel GMA 945 family doesn’t support it, I tried Call of duty modern warfare, And that didn’t work. And that was using mods, The same mods that enabled me to play crysis at 7.5fps. so if you get a way to play COD modern warfare on an intel GMA 945, Tell everyone, Me first though!
@Xdude777 possibly on very low… idk? what are the system requirements? google the requirements.
Hey, do you think it would run Call Of Duty world at war?
for sure. especially with a netbook. no cd or dvd required… sign me up!!!! lol.
I wanted to buy Conan from D2D. I think games are worth buying on there.
i bought this from direct2drive. it was ten bucks and downloads straight to your HD. no dvd or CD required. it DOES however cost you money. you could try steam too. ps. might be even cheaper NOW.
