I’m seeking during this Netbook during Amazon.com, and we wish to know if it’s Windows Vista or XP:

i do not consider Acer is a great brand

The eMachines eM250 Series Model KAV60 netbook that sole during WalMart for 8 (bit.ly It looks really identical to a Acer Aspire One AOD250. Starting during 5 mins in to a video we demo a Jolicloud netbook OS we commissioned from jolicloud.com. It commissioned on this netbook but one complaint and runs flattering fast! Netbooks have either Windows 7 starter, like this one, says right in the Tech Specs on that page, or Windows XP.
@KaptianKuichki yup you can do keep win7 with jolicloud
I have an old one, but the one thing i love about it is that its touch pad is epic!
wow somewhat surprises me the HD size… most netbooks have the 160 tops… especially cuz its so cheap!
So if we get jolicloud will our windows 7 still be on there?

I just bought today my emachines 250 and replaced the 160gb harddrive with a SSD drive. Runs Linux very well =)

btw, todays netbooks have Nvidia ION chipset, wich has some advantages (it features a CUDA capable GPU) over intel GMA.
It will run much faster with linux (Ubuntu netbook remix, Kuki, etc.).
I’m really impressed by the multitouch touchpad, nice feature.

I bought one today only a 160Gb drive though. I am very impressed, it runs xp with all the bells and whistles very well indeed.
The quality of the keyboard and case is far sturdier than the compaq cq60 i have next to me although still only 1″ thick, 10.1″ wide and weighing less than 1.2Kg
I think i might put linux mint on the main partition but other than that im very impressed with this little purchase.

the one i bought is win xp…if i upgrade to windows 7 is it gonna make the performance of the netbook slower? like lagging and stuff?
