I have a acer aspire one ZG5 which has no handling system. I’ve researched a laptop and it states a complement is windows xp good which is one costly complement which we can’t means a over 100.00 any way my crony has since me a windows 2000 hoop to use and conjunction one of us knows if it would it work with my laptop. So would it?

you might have motorist problems alternative than which it should work
try to refurbish a drivers if we can though we consider there is no longer
any updates for Win ME

Your computer can take win2000 without any problem because it was a lower grade operating system compare to xp. Win2000 works on most older computer since 1998 made. Win2000 is faster than xp when running with older computer because it did not require too much ram resource and cpu speed,and win2000 used to be designed of office usage. But win2000 was quite easily got attack by virus etc. as it is online,because it has not a built-in firewall like xp. Therefore,you must install a good anti-virus software and arm it all the time (enable online protection) before go online.Otherwise,it gets attack and infect by different virus at the first second online.
As I first time installed win2000 to one of my older computer,without arm with any anti-virus software,computer got infected immediately when I doing update win2000 from microsoft.com. Computer kept on warning: attacked by different viruses from unknown source. Computer started slow down and slow down then freeze.
