CLOSING THE LID OF AN ACER ASPIREONE NETBOOK?

I use my Acer AspireOne netbook to download utterly a bit of things off iTunes, however we would similar to to be means to tighten a lid, put it on a shelf and let it go on downloading but me carrying to be concerned about it. Unfortunately each time we tighten a lid it switches itself off. Does any one know how we can have certain it does not switch itself off when we tighten a lid?

i had same complaint windos perspective home premium
i only went in to energy etting and chnaged a energy etting
so when it cloed lid it did nothing
and so it would never automaticly sleep
because i severely be vexed nap mode
lazy computer…

Acer Aspire do that,just leave it open part way and cover it with a towel or something,if the light bothers you.

Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Power Options, Change Plan Setting, Change advanced power settings, Under Power buttons and lid (click the plus sign, submenu will appear) and select do nothing for each option.
