It’s similar to 250 and a small, similar to i can chuck it in my purse small… Wanting to know if any one has any info on it… Thanks!

Acer is a Japanese word for “really sh*tty computer”

I own a Acer Aspire One. I just love the thing. It’s small and light and is very easy to transport. Yes, it’s a little bit slow, but other then that, I have no complaints at all.
On the positive side, it has a good bright screen and plenty of ram and storage. It connected to my network flawlessly, and works well anywhere in the house. It also works well at hot spots.
The only negatives I can think of is it’s battery life. It will run about 2 to 2.5 hr. on batt. And second, there is no optical (CD) drive, so I just used an external drive to load the programs that I needed.
I would suggest this little computer to anyone who is tired of carrying a full size laptop around.

Those Netbooks are freakishly slow, and a waste of money.
First of all most if not all computers are made and built somewhere other than the Good Ol USA. I have a Acer Net-book Aspire One and it is a great computer.As a matter of fact it was rated the best overall this last year.The one I have has 1gig ram and a 160 gb hard drive running windows XP.After researching other brands I have found Acer to be right at the top. The one I have cost 398.00 US You can get for the price you show but is a laptop without XP and some other features..
I don’t understand why so many people answering these questions hate netbooks so much. Theyre great little machines. You guys need to try them before badmouthing them.
They work perfectly for all kinds of regular tasks. As long as you dont get a Vista Netbook you will be okay. XP runs smooth and with some tweaking can actually run just as well as on a regular desktop.
Most netbooks regardless of their price are running the exact same processor: the Intel Atom N270. The only real variation between the different netbooks is the size of the hard drive, the amount of ram and the screen size. The Acer Aspire One runs well on Windows XP for internet, word processing and some game.
@TheDestroyerx1 You can install Windows 7 on a flash drive. Just buy a copy of Windows 7 on disc, maybe from Staples, and get a 4GB or larger flash drive, then find a program on the internet to rip the disc to an ISO, then install the ISO on a flash drive using a program called UNetBootin, then boot your netbook through USB. And you will then Install Windows 7. (Or XP or whatever you want)

@Demonragdoll original highly doubt a netbook can run source if it can maybe on the lowest graphics settings but doubtful still

@SummerGameProject 30fps was only standard for consoles, people raved about it when consoles finally got some 60fps games otherwise pc gamers have been enjoying as many fps as their system can handle for years currently 299fps in source benchmark.
is this the original counter strike or css source?

He’s recording with fraps, which reduces the framerate significantly, especially on netbooks which aren’t intended to even play games, let alone record them at the same time.
@SummerGameProject Clearly you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about, because you’re comparing fps games with a television. Set max framerate to 30fps, play a fast pace fps online for a while, come back and tell me how that felt. Until then, don’t bother replying. If you want decent gameplay it should be AT LEAST 40, from 60 it becomes absolutely smooth in allsituations.
@iLoveEatingPie 30 FPS is the standard framerate for gaming asshole. It’s also the standard framerate for televisions. Maybe I know what the fuck I’m talking about? Unless you can prove otherwise, the fuck do you think the normal framerate is – I’m curious

He maintained a average 28 fps which is fine for a netbook. So “iLoveEatingPie” maybe you should take a break from eating your mothers, and read a fucking book

i must buy 2GB ram…because with 1gb ram i have only 500mb of usable ram…with 2gb ram it will be 1,5gb… fuc… integrated grafic card with 0mb of real memory
