    You need a DVI to HDMI cable which you can get from here (assuming your laptop has a DVI out connector):

    DVI>HDMI

    If it only has VGA out, then it gets tricky and whether an adapter will work depends on if your onborad VGA can detect that your TV wants a digital signal or not….

    Keep in mind, your TV won’t look nearly as good as a monitor….games are fine, but text is still pretty hard to read if you want to use word or something.

    @CosmoCortney thanks!

  • CosmoCortney says:

    @totalwar5 just remove the 2 srews of the metal plate and pull it. there’s a little gap which is made for it.

  • totalwar5 says:

    Hey how do you open it? I screw out the screw and pull the little handle but it seems to be stuck in the front too or something

    I have exactly the same PC, but mine has 12 GB Ram and 2 TB.

    can you plz tell me, with witch software, have you made this video ? thank you so much !

  • CosmoCortney says:

    @Miles52431 i’m not that sure. but it should fit a radeon 6950, if you have enough free space from the mainboard to the front side of the case, and there should be a kind of rail to fix it with a few screws. and be sure to have a free pci(e) slot under the pcie x16 slot.

  • Miles52431 says:

    I have an Acer Aspire M5811, do you think it will fit an ATI Radeon 6950 graphics card or will I need a new case!

  • zozanday says:

    @CosmoCortney the wire management is Bad, and the case is a ‘Nightmare’ half the Time, it’s not a Bad desktop but wished they made it better, i just built my own and better case no trouble they pushed everything in the desktop and quickly wired it up no ventulation in the desktop gets really Hot

  • CosmoCortney says:

    @zozanday that sucks.. but i had another problem with that pc about 2 month ago. it didn’t install updates correctly. so the computer always needed more than 5 minutes to boot up. there was the screen that it’s configurating the updates, then it failed and the pc booted up. so i had to reinstall win 7, and now everything worx fine again. but what happened to you with the graphics cards is really bad..
    but my next computer won’t be an acer pc!
    the M7721 has too less sata and pcie interfaces..

    i tried to install 2 Graphics card r nviida 480gtx, didn’t Fit fucking uselss

  • vangstaz says:

    Very nice sleeper. I love the elegant case. Don’t add a ton of useless neons and lights because they’re only for ricers.

    @21680Boys wow! cool^^

  • 21680Boys says:

    I have Aspire M7721 too, but I have i7 930 @ 2,8
    8GB DDR3 RAM
    GeForce GTX 480 (4,0 GB MRS)

  • SkeTchYGaming says:

    got the same pc and same capture card :)

  • CosmoCortney says:

    @555russe yea, when i start to emulate a 128bit hardware (gamecube/wii hardware) the graphics card sounds like an airplane xD
    but the computer is made for things like emulators, videoediting and gaming stuff.

  • CosmoCortney says:

    @catguy43 i bought it by a electronics-shop in germany. but u can bye it at the acer homepage.

  • 555russe says:

    i have got that thing few days ago its VERY powerfull but a bit too loud

  • catguy43 says:

    Where do you get one?

  • yamato99935 says:

    @UDeeDouchebag The motherboard would not allow overclocking in BIOS, but you can just sell the board & buy a new one and put it in the m7721 case.

    The i7 920 is already very fast without overclocking, but you can put it to about 3.5-3.8ghz on air if you upgrade motherboard with m7721. New motherboard is $150 to 200 dollars.

  • 380800 says:

    @CosmoCortney

  • CosmoCortney says:
